Japan Hosts Presentation, Steers Potential Visitors Towards 'Endless Discovery'

“To witness a change of seasons, to see from your heart...that is the beauty of Japan,” as said by Derek Ho, Regional Director – Global & Strategic Sales, North Central Region, Japan Airlines. Along with this and the message put forth by the Japan National Tourism Organization, the theme of last week’s presentation of Japan at the Outdoor Adventure Show inside the International Centre seemed to imply that a visit to Japan will steer visitors towards Endless Discovery (that’s the slogan).
Presenters showed a glimpse of Japan’s diversity including its regions, landscapes, festivals and cuisine. The diversity of flight options to the destination was also part of the discussion. Air Canada for example, offers 5 services from Canada including a new launch from Vancouver to Osaka coming 01MAY. ANA Airways will be transitioning its aircrafts on the Vancouver-Tokyo route to the 787 Dreamliner starting 01JUL. A new Houston and Tokyo route will also begin on 12JUN. ANA has also announced that it is now offering 2 checked bags for free in economy class.
