WestJet Welcomes Blue Jays Fans To the Rogers Centre Flight Deck
WestJet has announced a new major-league deal with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Partners since 2012, WestJet and the Toronto Blue Jays will feature a newly-branded fan area called the "WestJet Flight Deck" located directly under the main video board in centrefield at Rogers Centre. The standing-room-only area will be open to all Blue Jays ticket holders who want to see the game from a different vantage point, on a first-come, first-served basis.
"Renewing our partnership with the Blue Jays allows us to take our guests and baseball fans to a new level - the WestJet Flight Deck, where they'll get a bird's-eye view of the action from one of the most unique areas at Rogers Centre," said Corey Evans, WestJet Manager, Sponsorship, Community Investment and Experiential Marketing.
The five-year deal also includes an in-game feature entitled the "WestJet Plus Suite" upgrade, where groups of between four and eight spectators will be upgraded from the WestJet Flight Deck to a luxury suite to watch the game and enjoy free food and beverages. Lucky winners of this upgrade will also have the chance to sit in actual WestJet Plus airline seats in the suite.
