Cruise Strategies Announces Partnership With French America Line

Cruise Strategies Ltd has announced their new partnership with French America Line based in New Orleans, as the new company enters the Canadian market for its inaugural season.

In August 2016 French America Line, the world’s newest cruise line, will introduce boutique U.S. river experiences with the launch of its 150 passenger flagship Louisiane ™. Formerly the Columbia Queen, the Louisiane is undergoing a multi-million dollar refurbishment.

Inaugural sailings will begin 22AUG16. Clients can sail the Mississippi Headwaters™ of the Ohio River Valley, Tennessee, Cumberland and Red Rivers regions.

The ship will accommodate guests in 75 staterooms and suites for sailings that celebrate the cultural and epicurean influences of France mixed with Southern hospitality. The Louisiane’s small size allows her to navigate in narrow areas and access historic river ports on 5 American rivers that larger ships cannot reach, creating a unique opportunity to see and experience locations that haven’t been accessed by a U.S. river ship in more than a decade.

The Cruise Strategies team will provide sales and marketing support to their network of retail travel agencies throughout Canada for French America Line which is not currently serving the Canadian retail industry.
