Cockpit Selfie By Playboy Model Causes Furor

What's the big problem when a Playboy model is in the cockpit of a commercial passenger jet during takeoff – and even has her hands on the controls?

It might have something to do with the fact that she isn't a pilot. International viation authorities frown on amateur flyers.

The situation occurred last week on an AR flight. It was publicly revealed – of course – through social media.

Actress and glamour model Vicky Xipolitakis uploaded photos to Twitter last week, showing her in the plane's cockpit, in between two smiling pilots.

In a video, obtained by Argentinian television news program Telenoche, the pilots are seen explaining how the various controls work. Xipolitakis is seen shouting: "I'm going to accelerate and will take off!"

The pilots then joke that as an Argentinian taxpayer, she is entitled to fly the plane - as the airline is wholly owned by the country's government.

The airline fired pilots Patricio Zocchi Molina and Federico Matias Soaje after becoming aware of the incident.

Initially, Xipolitakis was contrite over the fierce reaction and criminal charges. "I sincerely and wholeheartedly did not imagine I could cause this much damage."

But the story has a new twist: Xipolitakis is now denying any responsibility for being in the cockpit and has announced that she plans to file a sexual harassment lawsuit against the pilot and copilot.

According to Fox News Latino, a lawyer representing the former Playboy model says Xipolitakis “might at first appear to be at fault," but accusing her “is looking away from those who were truly responsible…the commander and the copilot."
