Infidelity Website Buys Island For Secret Resort

The U.K.'s largest dating website for married people has confirmed plans to purchase a private island where its members can visit with the intention of having an affair.

The U.K. Sun reports that intends to open a resort on an island located dozens of miles off of the coast of England near Portsmouth. It’s not exactly a sun destination, but the target market is likely more into indoor sports.

Known as Illicit Retreat, the private resort will feature apartments equipped with dining rooms, Jacuzzis and, oh yes, bedrooms.

If the taboo concept seems hard to believe, the outrageousness doesn't stop there.

In order to get to the island, travellers will first have to be blindfolded and then transported by helicopter.

In addition to the blindfold, guests will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement in order to ensure that the island's location remains a secret.

The company also points out that the helicopter flight will eliminate the potential for guests to be caught cheating via travel receipts.

A spokesperson for the website, Christian Grant, told the Sun that "all you need to do is sneak out for a 'business trip' and the rest is taken care of for you."

"What happens on the island stays on the island."
