2016 has seen a flurry of route inaugurations for AC, with the most recent taking place yesterday morning as their 1st flight took off from YYZ enroute to Port of Spain, Trinidad’s Piarco International Airport.

The year round service will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, operating with a 280 seat Boeing 767-300ER featuring 2 classes of service.

"Air Canada is very pleased to inaugurate this new, year round service between Toronto and Port of Spain as part of our ongoing global expansion,” said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines. “In addition to being a popular vacation destination for Canadians, Canada and Trinidad & Tobago have longstanding ties, with many Canadians of Trinidadian descent visiting friends and relatives, and there are also substantial business ties.”
