Former Prime Minister of Canada Jean Chrétien will be the closing keynote speaker at the GBTA Conference 2017 set for 23-25MAY in Toronto.

“We are delighted to welcome our great country’s former Prime Minister of Canada Jean Chrétien to the stage at GBTA Conference 2017 Toronto,” said Nancy Tudorache, director of operations for GBTA Canada. Chretien’s appearance is being sponsored by Vision Travel Solutions.

“It is a true delight to have a man of his caliber and patriotism close our 13th annual GBTA Canada conference, particularly during Canada’s celebratory 150thbirthday year. Mr. Chrétien will no doubt impart stories of his invaluable experience as a 10-year leader of our country and 20th Prime Minister of Canada.”

Chrétien was sworn in as Canada’s 20th Prime Minister of Canada in November 1993 after winning a majority of the seats in the House of Commons. During his tenure he was re-elected with majorities in 1997 and 2000. Chrétien left the Office of Prime Minister of Canada on December 12, 2003.
