Bruce Parkinson, Open Jaw
After the horrific mass shooting at Mandalay Bay Resort last night, with reports of at least 50 dead and 200 wounded, Canada’s two major airlines have announced flexible change and cancel policies.
Air Canada has announced that agents can rebook clients set to fly today at no charge. WestJet is advising “all guests travelling to or from this area between 2-4OCTto check flight status prior to leaving for the airport.”
Although the alleged gunman is dead and no further threat is expected, AC says flights may be impacted due to security.
During the chaotic events of last night, several flights were diverted from LAS.
