Vision Travel Adds Three BDMs To Its National Sales Team

Ian Race, senior vice president, sales and account management for Vision Travel Solutions, has announced the appointment of three additional business development executives to its national sales team.
The new Vision members are:
Cheryl Hurlbut, MBA, based in Vancouver and joining Vision’s Western Canada sales team. Hurlburt brings over 20 years in hospitality sales and marketing, including leading hotel sales teams in Washington DC, Vanuatu and Banff. She was most recently with InterContinental Hotels Group, managing a portfolio of intermediary accounts including the meetings and incentive segment as well as travel management companies. Based in Ottawa, Sabrina Strang will cover Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. A bilingual graduate in tourism at Laval’s College Montmorency, Strang’s background includes over 10 years within the hospitality industry, as sales manager for Best Western Hotels, several independent hotels and most recently at the new Hyatt Andaz in Ottawa’s Byward Market area. In Toronto, Karim Benaissa joins the team with over 20 years of experience in the industry including roles at Howard Johnson, the Fairmont Royal York, Westin/Starwood, Eastern Caribbean Freight Lines, Novotel and InterContinental. His most recent position was director of business travel for the new flagship Delta Hotel in downtown Toronto, where his team won Sales Team of the Year in the Americas for Marriott Hotel Group.
