Vision Travel, A Direct Travel Company, has announced an agreement to acquire Percy Hunt Travel Group, based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The acquisition advances Vision’s strategy to expand in key markets throughout Canada.
With 23 locations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, Kevin Percy and Garry Huntington, the principals of Percy Hunt, have established themselves as leaders in travel throughout Central and Western Canada, specializing in both corporate travel management and leisure.
“With the addition of Percy Hunt and its locations, Vision Travel will now be firmly established with over 50 locations across Canada,” said Brian Robertson, president of Vision Travel (Ontario-West). “We are delighted to welcome Kevin, Garry and their entire team into the Vision Travel family where we are confident they will continue to thrive as leading travel professionals.”
Percy Hunt Travel Group president Kevin Percy says the company is enthusiastic about the move.
“We are very excited to join the Vision Travel team and look forward to continued growth, especially here in the West. Vision’s consistent growth over the past 18 years and their clear leadership in the industry made this a very straightforward decision.”
Huntington added: “We see many synergies between our two companies and I am confident that our staff and our clients will see immediate benefits of being part of Vision Travel. We are specifically pleased about Virtuoso and what that means for our luxury clients.”
Percy will join the Vision Travel leadership team and will continue to oversee operations of the 23 locations, while Huntington will join the Vision Travel regional management team as part of finance.
