The Canadian arm of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), a not-for-profit association that promotes the responsible development of travel and tourism to the Asia Pacific region, held an election for its new board last month.

 With roles taking effect on 9MAR, each of the new board members offer “significant experience” in the region, and according to a statement from the organization, “Their knowledge and vision bring a new dynamic to PATA Canada.”    

 The new board members are:

  • President – Jafette Madrigal, Plaza Premium Group
  • Secretary – Alan Law, GLP Worldwide
  • Treasurer – Judi Pym, Discover the World
  • Memberships – Lisa Lau, Royal Scenic Holidays
  • Programs & Events – Brittany Banks, CWT Tours
