Air Transat Tweaks Baggage Fees On Cuba, Haiti Flights

Air Transat is modifying its checked baggage policy for all bookings to Cuba and Haiti made as of 3APR.

TS is extending its current checked baggage policy for the South and the United States to include Cuba. That means pax who book a flight in Eco Promo or Eco as of 3APR will now have to pay $25 for their first piece of checked baggage of 23 kg.

Pax who book a flight in Eco Extra or a package in Economy Class will be allowed one piece of baggage. Those who book Eco Max or Club Class will be allowed two pieces of baggage.

The airline is going the opposite direction with Haiti flights. Pax who book in Eco Promo, Eco or Eco Extra or a package in Economy Class as of 3APR will now be allowed one piece of checked baggage of 25 kg at no additional cost. TS is continuing to include baggage allowance to accommodate the large number of travellers visiting family and friends.

Pax who book Eco Max, Option Plus or Club Class will be allowed two pieces of baggage at no charge.
