WestJet has announced new daily non-stop service between Edmonton and
Nanaimo as well as increased frequency on flights between YEG and Grande
Prairie, Kelowna, Regina and Saskatoon.

important schedule improvements will support that growth," said Chris

Development. "These increases cover a broad range of areas including key
business and leisure routes, offering greater flexibility for business
travellers who want same-day return trips and more choices for people looking
for vacation opportunities."
Daily YEG-YCD flights kick off 15DEC, departing YEG at 12:45 pm, arriving
YCD 1:51. Return flights leave YCD at 2:25, arriving YEG 5:12 pm.
As of 15DEC, WS YEG flights to Kelowna increase to 4X daily from a single
flight, while YEG flights to YSK go to 3X daily from once. On 25OCT, YEG
flights to YQR increase to 3 times daily, while YEG-YQU service increases from
9X weekly to 23X weekly.
