VoX International To Represent Tourism Australia In Canada
Tourism Australia has announced it has selected VoX International to act
as its representation office in Canada.
VoX will be responsible for developing partnerships and new business
opportunities for Tourism Australia and forging relationships with the travel
trade, tour operators and airlines to further promote the destination in
Tourism Australia’s Vice President & Regional General Manager for
the Americas, Jane Whitehead, says the appointment would ensure Tourism
Australia continues to build on its already strong representation in Canada.
“We’ve seen 5.8% growth in visitor arrivals from Canada in the year to June
2015, making it Australia’s 13th largest inbound market,” she said.
Canadian visitor arrivals were 142,600 for the period.
Canadian visitors can travel to Australia on major airlines including
AC, NZ and seasonally QF.
The announcement coincided with the re-launch of the Aussie Specialist
Program (ASP) which helps to equip travel advisors with the knowledge and
skills to sell Australia. VoX will also provide support and training for ASP.

Canadians don’t realize how much there is to actually see and do,” said VoX
