TourRadar Launches In North America

TourRadar has appointed former Intrepid Travel V.P. Christian Wolters as Managing Director with the responsibility of leading the company’s North American business.

TourRadar is an online agency that says it houses the largest selection of tours across all brands and provides unbiased tour comparisons based on real traveller reviews. The company charges no booking fees, hidden credit card fees, change or cancellation fees.

Wolters spent the last 7 years with Intrepid Travel culminating as the V.P. of Sales & Marketing in North America. Prior to that he held a variety of marketing positions within the automotive industry and represented companies including Kawasaki, Honda and Harley Davidson.

As Managing Director for North America, based in Toronto, Wolters is building a team and looking to fill a number of positions in Business Development, Marketing and Inside Sales. From there, he will strive to build awareness, operator partnerships and drive customer acquisitions.

“40% of TourRadar’s bookings already come from North America and there’s a huge opportunity to grow even further,” said Wolters. “Americans and Canadians love booking tours online and there’s a strong need for a tool like TourRadar that will connect customers to the best tours available.”
