Air Canada Vacations is launching what it calls a “significantly expanded” winter 2015/2016 program, with capacity added on both Air Canada and Air Canada rouge, including new routes to Mexico and the Caribbean.

The newly announced routes include:

From Eastern Canada:

  • YOW – CCC operating on Mondays from 21DEC15 to 28MAR16
  • YOW - HOG operating on Tuesdays from 22DEC15 to 22MAR16
  • YOW - AZS operating on Thursdays from 07JAN16 to 24MAR16
  • YUL - LRM operating on Mondays from 21DEC15 to 28MAR16

From Western Canada:

  • YVR - CUN operating on Mondays from 15FEB16 to 25APR16

The new routes originating from YOW & YUL will be operated by Air Canada. The new route from YVR will be operated by Air Canada rouge’s B767-300 aircraft.

Along with the new services, ACV will offer increased frequencies to many destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean from gateways including YYY, YUL, YOW, YHZ, YWG, YYC and YVR, along with connectors via AC’s 66 Canadian gateways.

“As our overall Air Canada fleet has grown over the last few years and with the launch of our new leisure focused airline - Air Canada rouge - having grown to some 34 wide body and narrow body aircraft, we are confidently adding more capacity across the country to meet the growing demand of our vacation customers,” said Eamonn Ferrin, ACV President & COO.

V.P. Sales Amr Younes says the expanded winter program is good news for ACV sellers.  “The new capacity growth, new routes and our new Sun brochure launch, really opens up more opportunities for our travel agency partners to grow their business with Air Canada, Air Canada rouge and Air Canada Vacations.”
