Pat Rochon To Head Canadian Sales For World Expeditions
Nathalie Gauthier, North American
manager for World Expeditions, has announced the appointment of Pat Rochon to
the newly-created position of Sales Manager, Canada.
In the role, Rochon will be responsible
for the brand-building and development of the World Expeditions portfolio of
brands within the Canadian retail travel community. He will specifically target
agencies and agents with an established adventure travel clientele and those
who wish to actively pursue the sector.
Rochon brings extensive experience in
the adventure and active travel sectors including management roles at G
Adventures, Adventure Centre and Vision Travel. Having visited nearly 150
countries and every continent, Rochon has earned a reputation as an expert in
World Expeditions offers a combined
total of over 1,000 itineraries. The company is now comprised of 9 brands
including umbrella company
in 1975 and now featuring over 500 trekking, walking, cycling and cultural
tours on all continents. Other brands include Utracks; Sherpa Expeditions;
Great Canadian Trails; Australian Walking Holidays; Tasmanian Expeditions;
World Youth Adventures; Huma Charity Challenge and Yomads.
