After 26 years at the helm of tourism to the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis in Canada, Carolyn James says the time has come to move on.

Effective 31DEC, the respected James will retire from the position of Director, St. Kitts Tourism Authority, Canada Office.

In a note sent to industry colleagues, James wrote: “I would like to thank you for your support to the organization which I represented during my tenure. It has been a pleasure to have developed such strong relationships, and to have been able to work alongside all of you in the travel industry.”

James added: “It is heartening to know that St. Kitts and Nevis has only been able to succeed because of your interest in helping us make travel to St. Kitts and Nevis desirable. For this, I am personally grateful. I leave with a sense of satisfaction at having worked in one of the most interesting fields, and served in one of the best vocations in the world.”

James says she leaves the organization in capable hands.

“Please note that travel to St. Kitts and Nevis will continue to thrive in my absence. This will be as a result of the continuation of your support to my colleagues Brad Richards,  brad.richards@stkittstourism.kn and Paul Minich, paul.minich@stkittstourism.kn.

They may be reached at 416-368-6707.”
