Student Travel Specialist WorldStrides Acquires Explorica

WorldStrides, the largest educational travel company in the U.S. has acquired Boston-based Explorica, Inc. which specializes in international travel programs for American and Canadian middle and high school students. Explorica also provides domestic student trips for Canadian students through its Keating-Explorica division.         

Founded in 2000 by Olle Olsson, Explorica specializes in connecting teachers and students to new cultures and languages in more than 55 countries around the globe. Explorica allows teachers to customize travel-study programs to enhance what they are teaching in the classroom.
