Star Alliance members EVA Air and Air Canada began code-sharing fights effective 10MAR thereby extending the services for both carriers passengers in Canada and Asia.

Under the code-share, AC pax can take BR-operated flights from NRT and ICN to both TPE and KHH in Taiwan. EVA pax can fly Air Canada onward from YVR to YYC and YEG and from YYZ to YUL.

EVA offers 5 flights/wk from Taipei to both YYZ and YVR.

North America continues to be an important market for EVA and the airline is focused on further developing its potential. EVA flies to IAH, LAX, JFK, SFO and SEA as well as YYZ and YVR. From these gateways, it offers more flights and seat capacity between North America and Taiwan than any other airline.

EVA joined Star Alliance in 2013 and in addition to AC has code-share agreements with SQ and TK. EVA plans to continue to develop code-share relationships with other member airlines and to expand routes and increase frequency.
