The Seven Stars will be the largest resort in Provo
Pretty In Provo
When you want to set the tone for a hotel, it helps to hold a launch event at tony Canoe Restaurant, high atop the TD Bank Tower in T.O. Fine food, spectacular water views, topnotch service. Need we say more?
So it was a great spot for us to learn about the newest resort in the Turks & Caicos Islands, on that eye-popping stretch of sand known as Grace Bay Beach. The stunning new Seven Stars resort (set for a soft opening in April) will feature condos of up to four bedrooms and some nifty goodies for your clients.
These include the largest pool in the Turks & Caicos, a full service gym, and suites equipped with Jacuzzi tubs, LCD TVs, CD and DVD players. Beverage service on the beach and (my personal favourite) spritzing service.
What sounds most fun though are the concierges who will use those nifty two-wheeled Segways to get around the property. And even lady concierges to be known as “Miss Seven”.
“We know our Canadian guests will feel right at home,” says the affable Jeffrey Boland, the resort’s director of operations (and a Canuck himself). “After all, Canadians represent the largest expat population on the island, and in Provo we shop at IGA and bank at the Bank of Nova Scotia.”
All good stuff, I thought. But when was the last time you were spritzed in T.O.? Sounds like it will be worth the flight to Provo!
