Language has become much less formal in recent
years. But in your business life, complacency with words can put clients off.
It’s not professional to speak to clients
the same way you would to family and friends – use their formal name until told
otherwise, and say ‘yes’ instead of ‘yeah,’ and ‘you’re welcome’ instead of ‘no
problem.’
