Participating agents from Canada and the U.S. are raving about South America after Goway’s recent FAM trip to 3 of its most popular countries. The June FAM started in Iguassu Falls before heading to cosmopolitan Buenos Aires and Salta in Argentina’s north, then to the beautiful Quebrada de Humahuaca and finally, concluding with time in Lima.

Syndi Prokopich of Ixtapa Travel, Winnipeg, said the FAM exceeded her expectations, praising the variety of experiences on the trip. “I will definitely recommend this to my clients,” she said, going on to say she would consider using the trip as inspiration for customized and FIT itineraries. Encouraged by the FAM’s success, Goway has already built a trip modelled after the FAM itinerary with its new Crossing Argentina vacation.

“The local guides were outstanding and extremely knowledgeable,” added Ramona Mitchell of Goliger’s Travel, Waterloo. “I had no idea what to expect from South America and it’s a little daunting to recommend when you have not experienced it for yourself. I found it safe, and everyone was so friendly.” Mitchell also praised the food, and the selection of local restaurants on the trip. “I cannot say there was a meal I did not enjoy.”
