Goway Celebrates Australia Day

Australia Day is the official national day of Australia, celebrated on January 26.

"Bruce Hodge founded Goway in 1970, after emigrating from Australia," said Cathy Mulrine, Vice President of Goway's wholesale division. "And since then Goway has grown and evolved into one of North America’s largest travel companies for the South Pacific.

In celebration the agency's close connections with Australia, staff celebrated Australia Day with a traditional Aussie lunch. Staff gathered in the lunchroom at Billabong House (Goway's Toronto Headquarters) and enjoyed traditional meat pies, while listening to Australian music including Men at Work, Cold Chisel, Midnight Oil and INXS.
