Transat Volunteers Plant Trees For A Brighter Future

Over 100 Transat, Transat Distribution Canada and Jonview Canada employees recently planted 265 trees as part of the One Million Trees Mississauga project.

Alongside Transat’s many initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions since 2003, Transat’s latest employee-driven project to plant trees and add mulch to existing trees in both Fleetwood and Garnetwood parks in Mississauga will help make a difference in air quality as trees work to consume carbon dioxide, release oxygen and help clean the air.

The tree planting volunteer project was launched to help conserve and enhance Mississauga’s spaces and forested areas. The goal of the project is to plant one million trees by 2032.
