V.com’s Family Bonds Foundation Supports French Relief Agency In Wake Of Paris Attacks

In a show of solidarity with the people of Paris, Vacation.com announced that a portion of the $40,000 it has raised through its Family Bonds Foundation, is being donated to Secoure Populaire Francais a charity which aids those displaced by war and extenuating situations. V.com introduced Family Bonds in March at its 17th International Conference and Trade Show.

“Given the generosity of our Vacation.com members and their desire to give back to their communities as well as the broader global community, there was overriding support for ‘giving back’ to the people of Paris through our Family Bonds Foundation,” stated V.com President, John Lovell, CTC. “We are a family, and the Family Bonds Foundation taps into the desire to assist the communities served by our member agents, supplier partners and staff. It’s clear our agents are seeking meaningful and compelling ways to make a positive impact. Our donation to Secoure Populaire Francais demonstrates that commitment.”

In addition to Secoure Populaire Francais, V.com will be distributing donations to 5 other recipients that were nominated. Each year, a small group of parents and children will be chosen from V.com member agencies or their local communities to be awarded grants. These confidential grants will help them with such things as medical bills, daycare or after-school care, school supplies and other basic necessities.
