Air Canada Vacations recently met with the
Cuban delegation to discuss future growth plans and long standing partnerships.
The tour operator offers 34 flights per week during high season to five Cuban destinations including Cayo Coco, Havana, Holguin, Santa Clara and Varadero. Lift and connectors from Air Canada make it possible for Air Canada Vacations to bring a wide range of Canadian travellers into Cuba – influencing the country’s tourism growth and allowing for product expansion.
“Canadians have always had a love affair with
Cuba,” said Dina Bertolo, Vice President, Product Development, Air Canada
Vacations. “That is because the destination is not only known for its
brilliant, white sandy beaches but more importantly for its culture and people
– that’s what keeps travellers coming back.”
Air Canada Vacations is actually the only tour operator that continues to grow in Cuba for the upcoming year. This is due to its exclusive product, accessibility to the destination and differentiators such as the Play program for families; Privileges - offering special perks for clients; Price Drop Guarantee; and advantages for Group bookings.
