TTC Showcases A Taste Of Thailand

The Travel Corporation and the Tourism Authority of Thailand co-hosted a media event recently with special guest Canadian foodstagramer and author Dennis Prescott. Guests enjoyed some local dishes while learning how Thailand remains a hallowed home to the food-obsessed throughout the world and were given a lesson in “foodstagramming” and curating the best, most colourful images of food for the social platform.. “Each region of Thailand has its own distinctive cuisine,” said Kayla Shubert, the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s representative in Canada. “Regardless of your preference, there’s something for you.”

Many of TTC’s brands – including Trafalgar, Busabout, Contiki, and Uniworld – offer journeys for travellers looking for a Thailand experience with a focus on authentic cuisine. “Food that brings locals and travellers together is good for everyone, which is what our brands can facilitate on an outstanding level,” said Jeff Element, President of The Travel Corporation Canada. “Travellers are looking for unique and meaningful experiences and local people get to share their culture.”
