Club Med Using Facebook Poll To Choose Logo For CDN Resort

Club Med is using a Facebook poll to choose the logo for its first Canadian resort – the Club Med Quebec Chalevoix, which will open in DEC 2020.

On the newly launched Club Med Quebec Chalevoix Facebook page, the company is asking users to choose their favourite pictogram that best depicts the Charlevoix region. Facebook users have the opportunity to evaluate two different options:

  • Whale: “embodying the unique aquatic life and picturesque ravines of the St. Lawrence River”
  • Caribou: “symbolizing the aesthetic of the land and wildlife"  

We knew immediately that Facebook would be the ideal platform to get our followers excited about this project and involved in the process, worldwide,” saidCarolyne Doyon, senior VP Canada and Mexico. “Crowdsourcing will help us select a logo that reflects the region and appeals to our existing and future clientele, while increasing the international awareness of our new resort. Our community of followers can look forward to additional updates as Club Med Quebec Charlevoix continues to grow.”   

The Facebook poll opens 19SEP and runs through 24SEP. Voting closes at 10am EST when the winning pictogram will be announced.
