25 Int'l Journalists Visit Saint Lucia To Document 2019 Jazz Festival

More than 25 international journalists -- including Canada -- were hosted during this year's Saint Lucia Jazz Festival, produced for the first time in collaboration with Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Canadian media outlets Journal de Montreal Newspaper, CAA/AMA Magazines, Cruise & Travel Lifestyles Magazine and Ensemble Vacations Magazine brought a mix of print, digital and online media coverage.
During the week, the group explored Saint Lucia's most famous landmark attractions such as the Sulphur Springs Volcano, mud baths and the iconic Pitons.
Canadian media outlets had the opportunity to attend a lineup of sold out jazz shows with special performances by Gregory Porter, Diane Reeves and Ledisi, as well as interview world-renowned jazz artists and local Saint Lucian performers.
At a Media Mixer at Coco Palm Hotel hosted by the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, journalists had an opportunity to directly engage with Saint Lucia's Minister of Tourism Hon. Dominic Fedee, as well as several jazz performing artists, and members of the SLTA and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
The Saint Lucia Summer Festival continues in JUN and JUL with the much-anticipated Saint Lucia Carnival, followed by Saint Lucia Roots & Soul Festival from 23-25AUG, 2019.
