Club Med Canada Announces Significant Changes To Leadership Team

Carolyne Doyon and Amélie Brouhard

Club Med Canada has announced some notable promotions among its leadership teams, starting with Carolyne Doyon being appointed President and General Manager, North America.

After more than 10 years at the helm of Club Med Canada and Mexico, Doyon has joined the North American head office in Miami in her new role and will oversee more than 3,000 employees in the area. She will be in charge of developing the commercial, operational and development activities, which today are made up of four offices and eight Villages.

Xavier Mufraggi, who had held this position for more than 10 years, is appointed Director General for the Europe and Africa markets, and will be based at the Club Med office in Paris.

Amélie Brouhard, currently Marketing and Communication Manager for Canada, is promoted to Vice President Canada and Mexico. With marketing expertise and nearly 10 years of experience in the travel industry in France and Canada, she has developed a business vision in recent years and will orchestrate the continued development of the company's commercial activities.

"I would like to commend the excellent results achieved by Club Med in Canada over the past few years, which are only possible thanks to the constant support of our business partners and the major players in the industry," says Doyon.

"It is with great emotion that I thank all those who over the years have become more than partners, but also allies and friends. By maintaining a direct link with the North American markets through my new functions, I will keep a special place for our relationships built on respect, transparency and trust. I am very confident that Amelie will be able to meet the bold challenges we have set for the Canadian market, as part of this continuity."

Operating for more than 40 years in Quebec, Club Med has close to 60 employees in its Montreal offices.

"It's a great time to join Club Med's executive committee in North America," says Brouhard, "with a lot of new stuff for our Villages in the area, but also passionate teams. I am particularly proud of the path already taken by our brand in Canada, and I wish to reaffirm our confidence in our business partners, with whom I look forward to continuing the adventure."
