Atout France And Partners Host Craftsmanship-Themed Media Event


On 6NOV, Atout France organized a media event in Toronto on the theme of craftsmanship in France.

Hosted at the Gladstone Hotel, journalists were able to meet destination representatives from Martinique, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, several alpine ski resorts, Brittany, and Pays de la Loire, as well as Tudor Alexis, Consul General of France.

Air Canada Lift

Air Canada now serves six destinations in France: Paris and Lyon year-round, and Bordeaux, Marseille, and Nice seasonally. From 4JUN 2020, it will also serve Toulouse year-round aboard an 292-seat Airbus A330-300.

The French overseas regions of Martinique and Guadeloupe also have year-round lift with Air Canada.

Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Spotlights Gastronomy

The new Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie opened in Lyon last OCT and the Vallée de la Gastronomie, stretching from Dijon to Marseille, has been announced. The route crosses a large part of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes territory, between vineyards, orchards and local producers.

Les Trois Vallées Ski Resorts

Les Menuires, Val d'Isère And Val Thorens are three ski resorts located in Les Trois Vallées in the French Alps. Travellers can go on the L'Étoilée gentle evening hike climbing to the Refuge du Lac du Lou in Les Menuires, join a paramedic training workshop in Val d'Isère, or in Val Thorens, visit glaciers and hike off-course with mountain guides.

Brittany Is All About The Coast

Land of sailors and explorers, Brittany features oyster farming, fashion and sailing. The Brest International Maritime Festival will take place in 2020, an event held once every four years where more than 1,000 boats converge in the bay and offer a chance to learn about maritime culture.

The Wine Routes Of The Loire Valley
