Haven Resorts Names VoX International’s Jan LaPointe As NA Director Sales & Marketing

Haven Resorts & Spas has announced that VoX International will provide its brand sales & marketing throughout North America, and, through VoX, Jan LaPointe has been named Director Sales & Marketing for North America.

With more than 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, including 16 years as a core part of the AMResorts leadership team, Canadian-born LaPointe is a knowledgeable and trusted leader with a proven track record of developing and growing new brands, driving innovative marketing strategies, developing loyalty programs and identifying new sales channels for hotels.

LaPointe will be responsible for leading Haven’s Sales & Marketing Initiatives in the United States and Canada. She will lead projects alongside Florian Connert, Haven’s Senior Director of Sales & Marketing.

LaPointe was one of the first hires at AMResorts and during her tenure she was the Senior Director of Marketing for AMResorts worldwide and played an integral part in launching six brands.

Later, as VP of NA Sales Strategies, she lead the AMResorts North American sales teams, consortia relationships and travel agent loyalty program.

“We feel lucky to welcome such a knowledgeable and experienced leader to Haven’s growing North American team and we have no doubt that Mrs. LaPointe will play a key part in the continuous success of Haven Resorts & Spas,” says Maria Antonia Llull, chief Executive Officer of Hipotels, the family-owned Spanish hotel group that owns and operates Haven Resorts & Spas.

The first property within the Haven Resorts & Spas portfolio debuted in Cancun in OCT 2018. The luxury all-suite, all-inclusive adults-only resort is part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ L.V.X collection. The property is currently developing a Convention Center set to debut this fall, as well as an additional 104-guest suites.
