African Travel Celebrates Community Heroes In New Campaign
African Travel is inviting advisors to nominate a person deserving of recognition for a chance to win a trip to Africa. The nominee can be an essential worker on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic, a co-worker helping their community heal, or anyone else going above and beyond in their community.
The chosen hero and their guest will receive the ultimate 8-night escape to South Africa and Botswana, experiencing Red Carnation’s Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa and the new Xigera Safari Lodge as well as the Chobe Game Lodge.
“This summer we’re looking for our travel community to help us express our collective “gratitude” and shine a spotlight on the co-workers, friends, family, or local community members making a big impact on our lives this year,” said Sherwin Banda, president of African Travel.
To nominate a hero, advisors can complete the online form here by 30JUN, 2020.
Advisors have 500 words to explain how their hero has positively impacted the people, planet and wildlife in their local community. Between 13-23JUL, African Travel will shortlist the top 10 heroes and host a poll for the travel community to choose the deserving hero.
The advisor who nominates the winning hero will receive a complimentary spot on an African Travel educational to South Africa, Kenya or Tanzania.
“During this time, African Travel keeps coming back to what we are grateful for and for us, that is our amazing travel advisor community and unsung heroes within our communities,” said Banda. “Travel advisors care deeply about their clients and their community and African Travel, Inc. wants to reward an advisor and an unsung local hero who has shown kindness during this unprecedented time.”
