Holland America Line has added new amenities and enticements to its Group Advantage Program (GAP).
The enhanced Group Advantage Program now features 39 different amenities and group package deals catering to weddings, family reunions, and culinary groups by providing tailored incentives to each party. HAL is also promoting its ‘GAP Plus,’ a points rewards program that gives agents the opportunity to earn a 1% bonus commission and additional perks on select sailings.
VP Sales Eva Jenner says the line is committed to ensuring the success of travel partners and that the new amenities "are aligned with our experiences both on board and ashore." She says the enhanced programs cater to savvy travel agents seeking more customization for their client groups.
With the current 2018 GAP Plus offer, travel professionals can potentially earn up to 17% commission in North America. Holland America will also provide additional GAP bonus points for large tour groups and planned events and offer free upgrades for weddings, culinary events, and other custom groups.
GAP amenities now include things like dining at Rudi’s Sel de Mer pop-up restaurant on select ships, a BLEND winemaking experience aboard Koningsdam, a mixology class and four bottles of Wine Cellar No. 1 wine per stateroom. Other available GAP menu amenities include beverage cards, bon voyage sparkling wine, dinner at Pinnacle Grill, a cocktail or fiesta party with hors-d'oeuvres, and a donation to Holland America Line's Cruise with Purpose charity.
