All staterooms feature a fresh, chic, boutique-style hotel design.
The newly modernized Celebrity Millennium is back in service following a 35-day bow-to-stern transformation in Singapore. It was the first ship to receive enhancements as part of the brand’s US$500 million fleet-wide modernization project called ‘Celebrity Revolution.’ Celebrity Summit has already entered dry-dock in the Bahamas for its own revamp, with seven more ships to be modernized by 2023.
Guests of the enhanced Celebrity Millennium will find completely redesigned staterooms and suites and reimagined restaurants, bars and lounges. Celebrity Cruises collaborated with international hospitality design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) to transform the staterooms and turned to designer Kelly Hoppen, MBE to refresh the suites.
Suite options now include Celebrity’s Retreat room concept, with an exclusive new sundeck and redesigned lounge. Suite Class guests have access to The Retreat Sundeck, an exclusive open-air hideaway with a new hot tub, cabanas, loungers and artwork, and to The Retreat Lounge (formerly Michael’s Club), an exclusive 24/7 lounge that offers complimentary beverages, gourmet bites, live entertainment, and concierge service.
A total of 30 new staterooms have been added, including 13 AquaClass, seven Ocean View and 10 Inside Staterooms. Staterooms are equipped with Celebrity’s eXhale bedding featuring cashmere mattresses and advanced RFID lock technology with digital key access has been added to every stateroom door.
Restaurant enhancements include an upgraded Oceanview Café featuring a new open concept, increased seating options, and globally inspired culinary offerings. The main restaurant has been upgraded with more seating and updated fixtures, while the Sunset Bar has been redesigned and the Rendezvous Lounge now features an enlarged bar.
Guests can also enjoy improved amenities across the ship including an enhanced wi-fi connection, new designer boutiques and new slot machines at the onboard casino.
On the wellness side, Millennium features a new spa and fitness centre design including a new, semi-private consultation area in the fitness centre for personal training and consultations.
