American Countess will debut in APR 2020.
American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC) and Victory Cruise Lines (VCL) has chosen Cruise Strategies Ltd. as the Canadian market representative for both lines.
Cruise Strategies, led by president and CEO Vanessa Lee, will act as their Canadian partner as AQSC and VCL expand in the Canadian marketplace.
"I have followed the acquisition of the two Victory ships in recent months and the overall increased interest in small ship cruising, as well as the emergence of the Great Lakes as a burgeoning destination," says Vanessa Lee, president and CEO of Cruise Strategies Ltd. "Canadians are also keen to see more of America’s rivers and enjoy coastal voyages, as well as exploring their own-at-home marvelous small towns and marquee ports on our Great Lakes."
AQSC, a river cruise line that has been operating since 2012, offers river itineraries across the U.S. In 2020, the new American Countess will be added to the current fleet of three ships.
Victory Cruise Lines, acquired by AQSC in early 2019, operates all-inclusive cruises to the Great Lakes, St. Lawrence Seaway, Canada and New England with a fleet of two ships.
