Hurtigruten Announces ‘Risk-Free’ Rebookings

Expedition cruise line Hurtigruten has introduced a ‘risk-free’ flexible rebooking-policy – allowing guests to change their bookings to any Hurtigruten cruise until the summer of 2021.

“In the current situation, it is important for us to ensure our valued guests get timely and accurate information, and the necessary flexibility as they are planning their adventure with us. We want to make sure that you can explore with confidence,” Hurtigruten CEO Daniel Skjeldam says.

The New Policy

  • For all guests booked on departures between 12MAR through 30JUN 2020, free rebooking is offered to any future Hurtigruten cruise -- expedition or Norwegian coastal -- from 1JUL 2020 to 1JUL 2021.
  • The offer is also valid for any new Hurtigruten bookings made by 30APR 2020.
  • A changed reservation will be reimbursed as a Hurtigruten Future Cruise Voucher in the amount of 100% and 10% discount on your future cruise including fees. For those who booked flights through Hurtigruten, the voucher also covers that portion.
  • A Hurtigruten Future Cruise voucher will be valid on all Hurtigruten departures – expedition or Norwegian Coastal Voyages - until 1JUL 2021.
  • Those who wish to change their Hurtigruten reservation will need to notify Hurtigruten at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled departure if flights are booked through the line, or at least 48 hours prior to hotel check-in or cruise embarkation (whichever is first) for those who booked their own flights.
  • The voucher is combinable with all other Hurtigruten offers.
