Supplier Schedule Updates: Cruise Lines

With ocean and river cruise lines temporarily suspending service around the world as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re keeping tabs on when operators are expected to resume sailings.

Here’s a comprehensive summary of the latest return-to-service announcements. The information will be updated as cruise lines announce updates to their operations.

CRUISE LINES RETURN TO SERVICE DATE
AIDA AIDA has resumed service on a select number of ships. 

The AIDAperla resumed operations on 02JAN, 2021, and the AIDAmar resumed operations on 03JAN, 2021.

The AIDAstella will resume operations on 22JAN, 2021, and the AIDAprima will resume on 29JAN, 2021. 
AMAWATERWAYS AmaWaterways is suspending all river cruise sailings for the 2020 season. This does not include the charted river cruise series on the Rhine that has been in operation the past few months.

AmaWaterways is offering a future cruise credit for all passengers impacted by the cancellations. 
AMERICAN CRUISE LINE American Cruise Lines has not announced when it will return to operations.
AMERICAN QUEEN STEAMBOAT COMPANY American Queen Steamboat Company has extended the suspensions of The American Queen, The American Empress, The American Duchess, and The American Countess through 31DEC, 2020.
AVALON WATERWAYS Avalon Waterways is suspending all travel operations through 31JAN, 2021.    
AZAMARA Azamara Club Cruises has paused its operations until its 2021 European season. 

Additionally, Azamara will be suspending its 2020/2021 winter sailings throughout Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and South America. 
BAHAMAS PARADISE
CRUISE LINE 		Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line will resume sailings onboard the Grand Classica on 18DEC, 2020. 
CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE

Carnival Cruise Line has cancelled all cruises out of U.S. homeports through 31MAR, 2021. 

Additionally the following cruises have been cancelled: 

  • Carnival Freedom from Galveston through 10APR, 2021. 
  • Carnival Miracle from San Diego and San Francisco through 16SEP, 2021.
  • Carnival Liberty from Port Canaveral from 17SEP-18OCT , 2021. 
  • Carnival Sunshine from Charleston from 11OCT-13NOV, 2021.  
  • Carnival Spirit’s 15-day cruise from Singapore to Brisbane on 12JUN, 2021. 
CELEBRITY CRUISES Celebrity has cancelled cruises through 28FEB, 2021 and also suspended all 2020/2021 Asia and Australia winter sailings. 
CELESTYAL CRUISES Celestyal Cruises has extended the suspension of its sailings until 06MAR, 2021.
COSTA CRUISES Costa Cruises is pausing operations until 31JAN, 2021. 

The Costa Delizoisa will be the first ship to begin sailing on 01FEB, 2021 and will sail the itinerary originally planned for Costa Smeralda, with itinerary options of three, four and seven days.
CROISIEUROPE CroisiEurope has restarted its river cruises in France. The first vessel sailed on the Seine on 13JUL, followed by the Rhone and the Burgundy Canal on 16JUL, 2020.

Rhine cruises returned on 20JUL, the Loire on 31JUL, and the Gironde will return 26AUG.

Ocean cruises to Corsica resumed service on 26JUL. 

Europe cruises resumed on the Danube on 31JUL. The Elbe will resume on 03AUG, the Douro on 07AUG, and in Croatia from 13AUG.
CRYSTAL CRUISES Crystal Cruises has cancelled all sailings until March and April of 2021. 
CUNARD Cunard has suspended operations through 2021.
 
Resumption dates: 
  • Queen Mary 2 will return on 28MAY, 2021. 
  • Queen Victoria return on 17MAY, 2021. 
  • Queen Elizabeth will return on 04JUN, 2021. 
 
DISNEY CRUISE LINE Disney Cruise Line has suspended operations until MAR 2021, and also cancelled select sailings longer than seven nights.
HOLLAND AMERICA LINE Holland America Line has extended its pause of cruise operations through 30APR, 2021, this affects sailings in Alaska, Mexican Riviera, Pacific coast, Caribbean, Mediterranean and Canada/New England.
 Furthermore, the line also will cancel all Alaska cruises until mid-May, Alaska departures on three ships up to early June, Mediterranean cruises through early June and Canada/New England itineraries until August.

Cruises eight days or longer that depart from the US will be paused until 01NOV, 2021. 
HURTIGRUTEN Hurtigruten has cancelled its remaining ships for the 2020 season. Additionally, the company has cancelled its Antarctica season for the 2020-2021 season. 

As of January 2021, five ships are sailing on the route between Bergen and Kirkenes. The following ships are currently sailing: MS Nordcapp, MS Polarlys, MS Richard With, MS Kong Harald, and MS Vesterålen. 

Departures with MS Nordlys and MS Nordnorge are cancelled in January and February. MS Nordlys will also cancel departures in March and April.
MSC MSC Cruises paused operations in U.S. waters through 28FEB, 2021.

In Europe, the cruise line suspended MSC Grandiosa sailings until 24JAN, 2021, and MSC Magnifica cruises to 14FEB, 2021.

NCL NCL suspended all cruises through 31MAR, 2021.

NCL has announced an extension of its suspension of global cruise voyages on all voyages of NCL, Oceania, and Regent Seven Seas embarking through 30APR, 2021. 
OCEANIA CRUISES Oceania Cruises has suspended all voyages through 31DEC, 2020. 

Additionally, Oceania Cruises suspended all voyages on Insignia through 26APR, 2021. This includes the 180-day World Cruise, originally slated to sail from Miami to New York on 09JAN, 20201.
PONANT Currently all Ponant cruises are paused. 

The Le Lapérouse will resume operations in February 2021, exclusively to New Zealanders. 
PRINCESS Princess Cruises has further suspended operations until 14MAY, 2021. This includes sailings in the Caribbean, California coast, along with early season Alaska and Europe cruises. 

All cruises longer than eight days sailing out of the US have been suspended until 01NOV, 2021. 

All cruises sailing in and out of Australia and New Zealand on Majestic Princess, Regal Princess, Sapphire Princess, Sea Princess and Sun Princess are paused through 31MAY, 2021. The line is also cancelling cruises out of Japan until 25JUN, 2021. 

Princess Cruises also confirmed it will cancel its early 2021 World and Circle South America cruise. Island Princess and the Pacific Princess voyages will be impacted. 
REGENT SEVEN SEAS CRUISES Regent Seven Seas suspended voyages with embarkation dates through 31DEC, 2020. 
ROYAL CARIBBEAN Royal Caribbean has suspended operations through 28FEB, 2021. Cruises in Australia are suspended further, through 30APR.

The Quantum Of The Seas is currently operating and sailing out of Singapore. 
SAGA SAGA's Spirit of Adventure is planned to have its inaugural cruise on 04MAY, 2021 and Spirit of Discovery will resume in April 2021. 
SEABOURN Seabourn is cancelling its sailings until 2021. 

Resumption dates are:
  • Seabourn Encore will sail on 28MAY, 2021 
  • Seabourn Ovation will sail on 18APR, 2021
  • Seabourn Sojurn will sail on 24MAY, 2021
  • Seabourn Venture will sail on 01DEC, 2021
As of 27NOV, 2020, Seabourn has cancelled sailings eight days or longer that depart from the US. This will impact the Seabourn Odyssey with voyages being cancelled from 16JAN, 2021, to 05NOV, 2021. The Seabourn Quest will also be impacted with operations being paused from 22JUL, 2021, to 06NOV, 2021. 
SCENIC GROUP Scenic has suspended all voyages until 28FEB, 2021. 

Scenic Eclipse Ocean Cruises, Scenic Myanmar River Cruises and Scenic Africa Land touring will be suspended until 31MAR, 2021.
SILVERSEA Silversea plans to restart three of its ships in June 2021.

Restart dates currently are
  • Silver Cloud: 05MAY, 2021
  • Silver Wind: 14JUN, 2021
  • Silver Shadow: 28APR, 2021 
  • Silver Spirit: 20APR, 2021
  • Silver Muse: 20MAY, 2021 
  • Silver Whisper:  20JUN, 2021
  • Silver Explorer: 24JUN, 2021
  • Silver Moon: 01APR, 2021
  • Silver Dawn: 09NOV, 2021
UNCRUISE UnCruise is cancelling all Alaska cruises for 2020. 
UNIWORLD Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has suspended cruises through 31DEC, 2020.
VICTORY
CRUISE LINE 		Victory Cruise Line has cancelled all planned itineraries for the remainder of the 2020 season.
VIKING Viking has extended its pause of operations through 31JAN, 2021. 
VIRGIN VOYAGES Virgin Voyages has further delayed the debut of Scarlet Lady by four months until MAY 2021 – a year after it was originally due to start sailing. Second ship Valiant Lady will miss its planned summer debut in the Mediterranean and will not enter service until NOV 2021

WINDSTAR 		   Windstar has extended its suspension of operations until 2021. 

Return dates for Windstar vessels are as follows:
  • The 312-passenger Star Legend will begin sailing 01MAR, 2021
  • Wild Spirit will return to sailing on 25MAR, 2021. 
  • The 312-passenger Star Pride will begin sailing 06JUL, 2021 in Northern Europe.
