“The focus of our Antarctic 2021-22 season is innovation,” said Thomas Lennartz, Vice-President of Sales at Quark Expeditions.

The 199-passengersUltramarine-- which features two helicopters, 20 Zodiacs and a sauna with floor-to-ceiling windows -- is custom-built for polar exploration, added Lennartz.
“Ultramarine, because of its design and cutting-edge technology, can take people places other ships can’t," he said. "This purpose-built ship will be an unrivaled operational base for polar adventure, allowing guests to push their boundaries and experience the magic of the polar regions by land, by ice, by sea—and by air.”
