After taking delivery of Silver Moon on 30OCT, Silversea Cruises has unveiled the first images of the new luxury ship's interiors.

“The ship represents the pinnacle of ultra-luxury travel in the 21st century, and we have made many innovative enhancements from her sister ship, Silver Muse, for the enjoyment of our guests," says Barbara Muckermann, Silversea’s Chief Marketing Officer.

"From our new S.A.L.T. ecosystem, which will enable travellers to delve deeper into destinations through the lens of food and drink, to the enriched public spaces, the enhancements aboard Silver Moon symbolize a refinement of Silversea’s already ultra-luxury cruise experience."

At 40,700 tonnes and 212 metres in length, Silver Moon is the ninth ship in the Silversea fleet.

Here are some of the onboard highlights:

Eight Restaurants And Three Destination-Focused S.A.L.T. Venues

  • The S.A.L.T. Kitchen menu will change with the destination and offers a regionally inspired wine list;
  • S.A.L.T. Lab is a test kitchen that enables guests to learn about local ingredients and artisanal techniques through workshops, tastings and demonstrations;
  • At S.A.L.T. Bar, guests can sample a selection of regional wines, spirits, and other beverages.

Silver Moon has a total of eight restaurants, including the S.A.L.T. Kitchen.
