We Have A Winner: A Travel Pillow That’s Not A Joke

Bruce Parkinson, Open Jaw

We’ve had a little fun in this space with travel pillows over the years.

First there was the Ostrich Pillow, which made users’ heads resemble pumpkins. There was Ezzz Pillow, still pretty out there in terms of how it made you look when using it.

Then there was Jet Comfy, less absurd, but slightly complicated due to the foot-long pole connecting a foam headrest to the chair arm. There was Seat Snoozer, which we described as “less pillow, more medieval restraint device.”

But, wait! We have a new entry, and this one looks like a winner. Here’s how the blog “Diary of a Social Gal” describes the Grand Trunk Hooded Neck Pillow:

“While it might not land you at the top of the swankiest best-dressed lists anytime soon, this cozy fleece hoodie (which is arguably still quite cute in a utilitarian-chic way), does come equipped with just the right balance of memory foam neck support (especially beloved on longer flights) and a brilliantly attached eye shade, enabling you to achieve full-on darkness and privacy for one of the best snoozes of your travelling life.”

The pillow sells for about $50.
