Worried About Coronavirus? Just #CancelEverything

Bruce Parkinson, Open Jaw

Meetings and events are being cancelled, flights are being cut, the NBA season has been suspended, Italy is virtually shut down, the border between the U.S. and Europe is being closed…

The disruptions that the novel coronavirus is causing are endless. And with all the worldwide interruptions, social media users are taking a welcome light-hearted approach to the outbreak.

The #CancelEverything hashtag became the top trend on Twitter after netizens started poking fun at the deadly virus.

We could all use a little humor. #CancelEverything

Here are some of the trolls doing rounds on Twitter:

#CancelEverything including my student debt, wrote @lintoNation

Another said, "At this point just cancel the rest of 2020."

@raggapegs wrote, "Cancel @realdonaldtrump's presidency. "

"#CancelEverything has been my Introvert Motto for all my life. You want to know what to do during a quarantine? Just ask an introvert," wrote @flowersfornash2.

"Since y'all wanna cancel everything let's cancel work and still get paid!!" wrote @shanice_kee.
