Pax Hides Under Seat For 'Likes' - And A Flight In First Class

If social media has taught us anything, it's that some people will do anything to increase their popularity among strangers on the internet. Even when it gets them arrested and delays a flight.
A woman flying on the 30OCT AA flight from Dallas to Miami came up with a bizarre plan to rack up more views of her YouTube channel – sneaking into first-class and squeezing herself under a seat in the cabin.
Witnesses say the woman, who was flying in coach, came into the first-class section to speak with a friend. She then attempted to crouch down and hide in the footwell of her friend’s seat, directly underneath the television display,Fox Newsreports.
“Apparently the plan was for this woman's friend to remain there the entire flight as it's something they thought would drive viewers to their ‘YouTube Channel,’” said a passenger on the flight.
Flight attendants eventually noticed the empty seat in coach where the prankster was sitting, and made an announcement asking the woman to return to her seat.
The woman emerged from her hiding spot and started the walk of shame back to her seat, but the captain flagged the incident as a security issue and the plane returned to the gate so both passengers could be removed from the flight.
That didn't sit well with the first-class partner in crime. A witness says she became furious and allegedly removed her mask and started shouting that she had been “disrespected” she said she had paid “good money” for her ticket and had a “child at home” waiting for her.
Police eventually boarded the flight to escort the two women off the plane. The entire incident caused even more of a delay to the flight, which was already behind due to an earlier incident with a catering truck.
Guess no one will be watching that YouTube video anytime soon.
