Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak will be the high-profile keynote speaker at the 2017 Travel Leaders Network International Conference.

With more than 2,000 Canadian and U.S. travel industry professionals registered to attend, the International Conference is set for 29APR through 4MAY at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando, Florida.

After the January merger of, Travel Leaders Associates and Results! Travel, TL Network now bills itself as the largest seller of luxury travel, cruises, river cruises and tours in the travel agency industry.

“Being able to attract a speaker of Steve Wozniak’s calibre is due, thanks in large part, to the size and significance of our organization,” says Christine James, TL Network Canada Vice President.

“The nearly 7,000 Canadian and United States travel agencies of TL Network enjoy more than US $17 billion in annual sales volume. Every day, we are doing our part to educate the travelling public on the value and benefits of working with professional travel agents.”

James says Wozniak was selected due to a unique ability to discuss innovation and transformation. He contributed to the public’s imagination on how computers could enhance their daily lives through his design of Apple’s first line of products, the Apple I and II, and his influence over the popular Macintosh.

“Clearly, he and Apple were able to revolutionize how people use computers in their everyday lives.  Travel Leaders Network is revolutionizing the travel industry through our programs and technology. While different industries, there are complementary ideas involving innovation, reinvention and working to become an integral part of everyday life.”

In addition to Wozniak’s keynote address, the 2017 International Conference will feature its Trade Show with more than 170 exhibitors, over 230 training workshops, supplier partner seminars and the Experience Room for Members to learn about each TL Network offering from subject matter experts.
