WestJet has made changes to its fee structure in a move it says will give pax greater flexibility when booking a Flex or Plus Flexible fare.

Effective immediately, there will be no fee to change or cancel domestic Flex fare bundle bookings. WS will also allow guests to make same-day flight changes during check-in for domestic Flex bookings at no charge.

In addition to removing change fees for domestic Flex bookings, WS’s Plus Flexible fares will now have a fully refundable option. The airline has eliminated the $50 fee to refund to the original form of payment for all new Plus Flexible bookings.

“We are pleased to introduce our updated fee structure at the same time that we release our 2017-2018 winter schedule,” said VP, Sales Lyell Farquharson.

“With these new, flexible fees and our enhanced schedule, which includes significant increases in frequency of service and more convenient departure times, we’re able to offer an even better travel experience for both our business and our leisure travellers.”

More information about the new fees can be found on WestJet’s travel agent resource site
