Air Canada has announced new domestic regional non-stop services between British Columbia and Alberta cities, with a start date of 2JUL. The new routes will link Edmonton and Kelowna year-round, and Edmonton-Victoria and Calgary-Comox on a seasonal basis.

"We are pleased to offer new non-stop flights onboard our Bombardier Q400s between popular BC and Alberta cities as we continue to strategically expand our already extensive domestic network," said Benjamin Smith, President, Passenger Airlines.

"With the continued growth at several communities on Vancouver Island and in the BC Okanagan, we see the opportunity to add new non-stop services and provide additional convenient travel options."

In other AC news, the airline has announced that its current seasonal non-stop YVR-DEL flights will become year-round starting 8JUN. AC’s Smith says customer response to the seasonal flights to India, launched in 2016, has been “extremely positive.”

Tickets for all flights described in this story are on sale now.
