Open Jaw

Trafalgar has launched a new 2019 Africa Program featuring 10 trips to nine different countries in sub-Saharan Africa for the first time, including South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania, among others. It is also offering 10% off on selected trips when paid in full by 17JAN, 2019.

“We’ve waited for this moment, and it is only after the recent 100% acquisition of the foremost operator that we know that we could bring Africa to our Trafalgar guests,” said Gavin Tollman, CEO of Trafalgar. “This continent is our home; the place we know best. It is critical for us to do justice to that legacy, sharing with you the secrets and hidden gems that are part of our family.”

Trafalgar will be offering tours that consist of three different customized trip styles:  ‘Country Explorer’styles for clients interested in one destination;  ‘Regional Explorer’ styles for clients interested in exploring a number of countries; and  ‘Mini Stay’ styles for those who want to extend their trip.  The program also features immersive and intimate trips, ranging from 12 to 15 passengers per trip, and on some as few as four clients, for a fully in-depth cultural experience.

Some of these trips include: the 14-day ‘Namibia Explorer’ tour which takes clients to the Mondesa Township in Namibia with their local guide to meet a local Damara family; the 15-day ‘Best of South Africa’ tour where clients stay at The Oyster Box Hotel in Durban; and the 14-day ‘African Safari Adventure’ where clients can take part in Trafalgar’s ‘Make A Difference’ experience in the small village of Vihiga and visit an orphanage.

The full program, including all 10 itineraries, can be found online at:
