Air Canada has announced that it is increasing its fees for checked luggage as a means to help offset overall costs, while still remaining competitive with its ticket pricing.
Previously $25 for the first bag, that cost has now gone up to $30, with the second checked bag now costing $50. These updated fees apply to all markets in Canada, U.S., and sun destinations, including Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America:
The increased fees apply to tickets issued on or after 21AUG, 2018, for travel on or after 5OCT, 2018.
The airline has also announced a new winter route. Starting 15DEC, Air Canada will launch Signature Service on its twice-weekly winter seasonal service to and from Toronto and Honolulu onboard its Boeing 767 aircraft.
Customers flying in Signature Class will receive:
Mattress pads, duvet blanket and an oversized pillow;
Choice of main courses, snacks, Air Canada Signature Cocktail, sparkling wine, port, and a selection of wine.
They will also have complimentary access to the Maple Leaf Lounge prior to departure from Toronto to Honolulu and the United Club prior to departure on the return flight. As well as priority airport services and access to the concierge office at YYZ.

Please publish the fare on your website inclusive of all taxes, surcharges and baggage fees...

baggage fees as well as all taxes should be included in the cost of the ticket - no hidden surprises once a ticket is purchased

Wish ALL of the airlines would include baggage fees. Customers consider this a cash grab :( Or at least give the option when booking to prepay baggage fees
