After a year off as St. Maarten recovered from the ravages of last fall’s hurricanes, Sunwing has announced that the popular destination is back on the schedule for winter with year-round, weekly direct flight services from both Montreal and Toronto. The first flights from both cities will depart 28FEB, 2019.

“St. Maarten offers excellent accommodation options for both families and couples and is perennially popular amongst our clientele. We are delighted to be reintroducing vacation packages here this coming winter so that our customers can once again enjoy this varied island destination,” said Andrew Dawson, Sunwing’s president of tour operations.

Accommodation options include the newly renovated all-suite, adults-only Sonesta Ocean Point Resort, which is slated to reopen on 15NOV, 2018, and the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa, which will reopen on 1FEB, 2019.
